How does Kiro bypass Stripe's 0.4% invoice fee?
Stripe charges 0.4% (up to $2.00) only when you turn on their automated post-payment invoicing feature. Kiro connects securely using a read-only Restricted API Key. When your customer wants a formal tax invoice, Kiro generates it externally on demand, completely bypassing Stripe's paid tier.
Is using a Stripe Restricted Key safe?
Yes. Restricted API Keys (rk_live_...) are strictly read-only and scoped to Charges, Customers, and Invoices. They cannot initiate refunds, withdraw payouts, or alter customer cards. We also encrypt all keys using AES-256-GCM before saving them to the database.
How do my customers find and edit their invoices?
You get a link like getkiro.fyi/i/yourcompany. You add this link to your Stripe receipt or confirmation page. Customers simply enter the email they used at checkout, review their past orders, add their corporate VAT number or address, and tap download.
How does EU VAT and Reverse-Charge work?
When a European business customer inputs their VAT ID, Kiro verifies the country code and syntax (and runs real-time EU VIES checks on Pro). If it is a valid cross-border B2B order, VAT is set to 0% and the legal Reverse Charge notice (Article 196) is automatically added to the PDF.
Can I use my own domain like billing.mycompany.com?
